Okay, a little more detail about how I found out that the tumor was back. The last three years the doctors have been keeping a close eye on it knowing that it was getting a bit larger but it was not affecting my vision or the function of the pituitary. So they were just monitoring it. Then once it grew to a size that they were uncomfortable with and also started affecting my vision that's when it was time to remove it. I've been having some double vision. Praise God I've had no headaches like the last time. I feel pressure in my head especially when I lift something heavy. The plan for removal of the tumor will be up through the nose removing a piece of the skull going in taking the tumor out kind of like an ice cream scoop then putting the skull piece back in place, then back out through the nose and they'll be done. Like I mentioned I will be in an ICU room for a couple of days then down to a regular room and because I live over an hour away I will be staying in a hotel adjacent to the hospital for a couple of days.Of course, that could change either way. I'm just trusting that God is already healed me when I get there, and they won't have anything to take out, but otherwise, he will use a very capable surgeon's hands to remove it. God is in control.
I want to start off by saying thank you in advance for your prayers and thoughts in these coming days. As a lot of you know and for those that don't my pituitary tumor has returned and I will be checking in the hospital today Sunday and I will have surgery to remove it on Monday. I'll be at Duke Hospital in Durham North Carolina.  Here is the plan, I will be in ICU for two days, a regular room for two days, staying in a hotel in Durham for 2 days and then home. Alan will be there with me as well as Katie and Casey and most of all of you wrapped in God's arms of protection. Kala will be here the second week after I get home. I want to thank Dean & Mary for getting me to & from the hospital but most importantly taking care of our Kitties while I am gone. Katie will be posting quick updates here and for those that want the (rest of the story) she will be posting on my blog and sharing the link. Thank you again for your love and prayers.
***Just a note it is almost never cancerous but it is sitting on my It is sitting on my optical nerve giving me some slight double vision. I've had no headaches this time around praise God. so my  prayer would be

  1. there's no problem with vision after the surgery
  2. also the pituitary is still in working order after surgery

Hello family and friends,
As you can see I have opened my blog once again, I am sad to say this means that I have reason to keep in contact w/ you once again as my tumor has returned.
James 1: 2-4
2. My brothers and sisters, consider yourselves fortunate when all kinds of trials come your way, 3. for you know that when your faith succeeds in facing such trials, the result is the ability to endure. 4. Make sure that your endurance carries you all the way without failing, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing

I am feeling ok and have been very busy making plans and finding new Doctors. Doctor Kent has moved on. I am very happy w/ the plans so far. I will be going to a Doctor in New Jersey and staying w/ Katie and Casey. I will keep each of you up to date and please forgive me if missing a few of you the past week w/ the latest details.

So Alan and I will be leaving this Monday for New Jersey. Praise God we will be taking the train so I do not have to drive!  I want to thank each of you in advance for you prayers. Please leave me fun messages and any questions; I loved receiving them last time. They truly do help.

For my new friends that I have met in the last few years it is a Pituitary tumor and they are most always Benign :) that is my favorite part!!!!!  But never the less some what heard to treat. But I do know for sure God is Good!!!

Round 2

I went to the Dr. Kent yesterday he is my surgeon. Some good news and some I could have done with out. They were able to get most of the tumor, but there is some still residual tumor left behind. I have to go back at the end of April for another MRI. I will have surgery after that. (Unless God give me a miracle I know that He can). The doctor wants to do the surgery instead of me going  thought radiation and I agree with that fully. I was able to bounce back form this surgery  very soon and I have heard form many people how hard radiation is on your body. I am good with this decision. There will be a bigger risk of spinal fluid leakage with this next surgery because they have to go deeper and open two other pockets. One on each side of the one they worked on before.

First thank you all for the prayers on the last round and again I ask you for your prayers.
1. That if it's Gods will He will remover the rest for the tumor on His own with out surgery.
2. If not that the tumor will just keep shrinking till May to make the surgery less invasive
3. My Doctor will be moving back east at the end of June, I am praying this can be all taken care of before he moves.
4. That they will be able to get it all taken care of this time.
5. My eye sight right after surgery was great I was able to see far away with no trouble, but in the last two days I have noticed that my left eye has become blurry.

Please if you have any prayers or concerns that I can bring to the Lord on your behalf let me know. I would to be praying for your needs too.

I can drive

I went to the Doctor on Monday he suction out my nose, said it was healing very well. That as far as he could see I should be released for all restrictions the most important is driving. When Dr.Kent got this report he called me to day and said that I can DRIVE. I just got this info a few minutes ago. I am very happy. Most important in the healing is going very well. Praise God.
